Ron Elston has been involved in real estate as an investor, owner or agent since he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Real Estate from the University of Arizona in 1982 (with two additional majors in Finance and Business Management). He originally "cut his teeth" in sales while selling snow skis in Tucson, AZ. during college. Ron was raised with negotiating "in his blood" when he went to high school overseas in Singapore where virtually every purchase (even a stick of gum) was a negotiated transaction. His leadership abilities developed early while in high school where he was captain three sports teams and earned nine sports letters.
Ron joined Perry & Butler Realty in 1993 as a Broker Associate ranking as high as #8 (out of 350 agents) during his first two years in the business. In 1996, Ron was promoted to Broker/Branch Manager of the company´s North Suburban office where he oversaw literally thousands of real estate sales transactions. Ron joined Keller Williams Preferred Realty in 1998 as a Broker/Owner of the company and continues to be one of the highest producing agents in the entire Colorado region since. Keller Williams is the second largest and fastest growing real estate company in the nation with over 700 franchise offices and almost 80,000 agents throught out the United States and Canada.
In addition to Ron's extensive real estate experience, his diverse background includes (extensive lending experience as) a Loan Officer and Assistant Branch Manager at First Interstate Bank and as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Management Solutions, Inc. (MSI), an international computer software company based in Denver.
His enthusiasm for his work has had Ron involved in the National, Colorado and local Realtor associations having served in many positions including Treasurer and as a Director for the North Metro Denver Realtors Association. Ron is active in providing valuable leadership and training to the agents in the area through the sales and marketing courses he teaches. He also is continually taking new classes himself as well so he can stay in the leading edge in Real Estate.
Outside of his real estate activities, Ron enjoys the fitness training and discipline of TaeKwon-do. He is a 3rd degree black belt and has been a member of the United States TaeKwon-do Federation´s Demonstration Team. He also enjoys snowboarding, skiing, golf and loves getting up early in the morning to work out. Ron is very active within his church and is a volunteer leader with the church´s youth ministry group, helps with several other committees and is a member of the church board of directors. Ron and his wife, Pam, have been married for 18 year now and have a wonderful sixteen year-old son named Cory and a beautiful thirteen year-old daughter named Carissa. Ron considers himself to be truly Blessed beyond measure!
